Ncaa Baseball Field of 64

Miami - FL 44 year ncaa steak is over.. missed out with a 31-27 record or therabouts.

Big ten has five teams in the field.

Michigan.
Nebraska
Indiana.
Maryland.
Iowa.

Nebraska is in the tournament not Minnesota. I don't know how good or not good Minnesota baseball is but they're not in the tournament. Maybe you were thinking of Minnesota softball.

I used to be a big Michigan baseball fan.. Then they did something wrong, I forget what (memory and all) - and restrictions were placed at the time. Right about Freehan, the manager before him I think. Somehow I stopped caring and haven't paid attention since..

Open ended question but how has the team done the past 25 years? Any WS appearances?

Thanks. When did they make the field 64? I don't remember it that large before. Imo, too many teams..

Wasn't it baseball players working at other sporting events selling game programs but getting paid $100s to do it? After Barry Larkin and Jim Abbott

I don't remember exactly but I remember being pretty bummed about it. Enough anyway to not pay attention to Michigan Baseball anymore.. Maybe I need to get back into it.

Bud Middaugh was funneling University money to selected players for selling football programs in the late 80s.

Sadly a very nice season ended on a 4 game losing streak in the btt and ncaa tournament. Michigan lost to unc 8-1 in the losers rackett. Team ended 42-17. 16-8 in conference for second place, and 23-5 at home. 14-7 away , and 5-5 on nutreal sites.
