What is the value of a starter? Cabrera gets 28 mill averages 532 ab, 68 walks= 600 pa=46666 dollars per pa vs Verlander average 185 innings=185x3= 555 batter face or at bats x 46666=25,899.630< the 28,000,000 So he is over paid imo. Worst than that imo Cabrera over paid.

Pitful 15 k's in 31 innings. Tonight against Tigers 5 in 2.2 Tells you just how bad of swingers tigers have.
