4 game home and home series with the Reds. Tigers are 17-17 at home. Reds are 11-21 on the road. Tigers 6-5 in interleague games and the Reds are 1-7. The Reds have had the worst IL record going back to last year at 7-21 and are just 2-16 in AL parks.

Sanchez gave up six hits in 7 2/3 innings of Tuesday's 6-0 home win over the Cubs for a performance he really needed after going 0-3 with a 7.71 ERA in his previous four. He hasn’t faced the Reds since 2010. Sanchez has given up 13 homers this year. The Reds rank 5th in MLB with 74 homers.

23 year old Moscot is making his 3rd MLB start (1st road start) after surrendering two runs and six hits in six innings of Wednesday's 5-2 win over Philadelphia.

Miggy is batting .458 in his last 16 home games, .385 in 22 home games against the NL since the start of 2013, and he's a career .343 hitter against the Reds. JD has a 13 game hit streak against the NL. Cespedes is hitting .452 on an eight-game hitting streak and is batting .413 in his last 13 at Comerica Park.

Joey Votto is batting .368 in his last 15 games and has a 23 game on base streak. Jay Bruce is hitting .140 in his last six. Billy Hamilton stole 5 bases last night against the Cubs (tying a team record) and giving him the MLB lead with 31.

Tigers activated Rondon from the 15 day DL but optioned him back down to Triple A. The move comes one day after he had another shaky rehab appearance. Rondon has a 10.38 era and a 2.31 whip in 9 rehab appearances.

The forecast for Monday night calls for temperatures in the mid-70's. There is a high chance of thunderstorms from 7-10 p.m.

I can't watch the game...mlb.com says Moscot is hurt and not moving his arm.

Pedro Villareal replacing Moscot with 2 outs in the 1st due to an injury.

Looks like he separated his left shoulder or screwed up his left elbow diving to tag Gose as he was chasing him back to 2nd base....just looks like an unlikely, freak injury. He was definitely in a ton of pain.

This umps strike zone apparently is down to the shins just above the ankles.

There's a couple of breaks, Boesch clowns shoes Cespedes fly to left into a double and Frazier throws a grounder to first E 5 and Cespedes scores, JD to second,

Tigers lead 1 - 0,

Gose with a leadoff walk, steals 2nd, throwing error gets him to 3rd with no outs. Love speed.

Kinsler walks. Can't believe teams are pitching to Miggy right now. Double. 3-0.

And how many homers has JD hit to right field this year?...seems like all of them.

Sanchez is back to pitching filthy, CG Shutout,
Tigers Victory Cigar!!!!! and a bowl of ice-cream!!!

Good win. Sanchez getting back to form would be a hugeeee boost.

Miggy quietly moving back up the triple crown stats. Now 1st in average, 2nd in RBI (1 behind Teixeira), and 4 homers behind Pujols. Guy is on one of his tears :)
