Happy Birthday Ian Kinsler!

Can the Tigers keep on winning against the Indians? Tigers are 7-2 against the Tribe this season and 22-12 against the AL central. Indians are 14-21 at home. Tigers are 17-16 on the road.

Ryan gets his 3rd start of the season. In his short MLB career, he has allowed left handed batters to hit .303. Ryan has never faced in Indians batter.

The 24 year old Bauer (3rd pick in 2011 draft) owns mlb?s best road era at 1.10 this year but not so much at home. In 7 home starts he?s posted a 5.40 era. He leads the AL in walks allowed with 37. He is coming off of a 7 inning, 4 hit, 0 run performance against the Cubs in his last start.

Tiger hitters are a combined 29 for 89 (.326) with 5 home runs against Bauer. Miggy is 4 for 14, JD is 5 for 11 and Kinsler is 5 for 15.

JD is hitting .394 with six homers and 14 RBI in his last eight games.

Miggy (1st in avg .346) is 22 for 34 (.647) with five homers, 15 RBI and a 1.147 slugging percentage against the Indians this season. He has reached base in 26 straight games at Progressive Field, batting .463 with 12 homers, 10 doubles and 35 RBI.

The Indians are 11-15 against lefties this year and are coming off 3 straight games of scoring just 1 run against Tampa. Cleveland is 30th in the majors in runs scored this month with just 47 in 18 games.

Kipnis (2nd in avg .345) is batting .495 during a 25-game hitting streak at home, the longest by an Indians hitter since Miguel Dilone hit safely in 27 straight at Cleveland Stadium from July 6-Aug. 31, 1980. Kipnis leads the majors with a .409 average at home and is batting .386 during a 16-game overall hitting streak that has matched his career best from June 18-July 5, 2013.

Raburn is hitting .310 with .927 OPS against left-handers this season.

There is a chance of thunderstorms in Cleveland tonight, but most of the storm activity is not expected until after midnight. The forecast calls for temperatures in the lower 80s for first pitch today.

No idea why they keep pitching to Miggy but they do. Although it gets harder to skip over him now if VMart is healthy. Miggy has reached base safely in 27 straight games at Progressive field.

Cespedes 2 run triple! 2-0

2 out hit.

Indians challenge the triple and it becomes a ground rule double. 1-0.

Tiger season in a nutshell right there.. a challenge goes against them and we lose a run and McCann smashes a sure single that would plate 2 runs and end up with only 1 run on three hits that half inning because of a great defensive play..

Romine doubles...you're going to be on the bench for another game Nick.

Get the timer out on this guy... My god he takes a decade in-between each pitch.

Shit we have 2 runs on a billion hits all ready... LOB's damn those LOB's...

What the freak happen. we were up 3-0 with one out and i turned it to the soccer game.. Turned it back and its 3-3 like 10 minutes later :/

Wish we had more guys like Miggy that can take a pitch like that with a 3-2 count..
