Center fielder is suppose to take every thing he can get to. Just another example of how bad this team is coached/prepared. O and the base running is another example.

Ron, that is very misleading. Pelfrey's career average is 92.5.
2014 was by far his lowest fastball at 90.8 MPH and it was based on just 23.6 IP (after Tommy John). 2015 was his 2nd highest, but most with at least 100 IP. Sometimes, reducing velocity helps with control and/or movement.
2007 = 94.3 (72.6 IP)
2008 = 92.8 (200.6 IP)
2009 = 92.7 (184.4 IP)
2010 = 92.0 (204.0 IP)
2011 = 92.0 (193.6 IP)
2012 = 92.9 (19.6 IP)
2013 = 92.3 (153.6 IP)
2014 = 90.8 (23.6 IP)
2015 = 93.0 (164.6 IP)
2016 = 92.2 (14.6 IP)
From 2008-2011, where Pelfrey averaged 195.6 IP per season, he averaged 92.4 MPH, which is on par with his career average.

He might want to try Jenny Craig,but I doubt if he will.Don't get me wrong,Miggy has been my idol since his move from Miami,but year after year he comes into spring training 10 lbs heavier than the year before.I think unless he does something about his weight,that he's on a downward spiral.
