Indians @ Tigers 4-22-2016 Game 15

You manage to win the game not rest hot hitters, hasn't salty already had three off now since filling in nicely for McCann? Good gawd man, he'll have plenty of rest once McCann comes back soon anyway, what's the point of starting the back up injury replacement before he goes back to Toledo? Kinsler hasn't had a day off yet, should start lettuce at 2nd tomorrow. Miggy could use a day off, or wait till he gets hot first then give him one

sorry I'm unimpressed with Brad

Did you learn nothing from Avila? You overplay a catcher and not rest him and you pay for it later in the season. Period.

Most starting catchers start only 125-135 games out of 162-game schedule, even the likes on Yadier Molina or Buster Posey. The most games Posey has started at catcher is 119. Only about 25% of MLB catchers have at least 1,000 innings (111 games) caught is a season.

Bottom line, your starting catcher is going to get 1-2 days off in a week, regardless of who they are or whether they have been hot. You cannot keep playing them. Catcher is the one position that requires given the starter days off on a regular basis, regardless of age.

I don't care what anyone says about Verlander pitched a good game. He was all over the place the first few innings, 80 pitches after 3 or into the 4th inning. Where the fuck are the bats??
Miggy is not doing it, time to get on a salad/veggie/fruit diet and take off 15 pounds.

Okay, so who wants to punch Ausmus in the face when he does his after game talk.
