Don Kelly has joined the organization as a professional scout ..

I always liked Don Kelly's left handed swing, he just wasn't able to hit much.

So he will be a scout and back to his other gig of being a go-fer for Leyland.

Leyland, "Donny...um son, I need some smokes".

Kelly, "Right Skip, a carton of Marlboros coming up".

Every team needs players like Don Kelly, and I'm glad he was a Tiger. Perhaps he had 50 or so more PAs in 2010 and 2011 (and in 2013 and 2014) than I'd like, but I think he'll succeed in this new role.

Yeah. Outside 2012, he was a pretty solid player. He could play multiple positions and hit near .700 OPS. You could do worse.
