To play for 14-15, unrestricted after. If you can trade this cat, do it. But unfortunately, his value couldn't be lower right now. Teams know that he's gone after this season. Why would they want to give up anything for him?

Pistons are going to get a mopey, doesn't want to be here, Greg Monroe. Weeee.

Monroe reported that he WILL sign the qualifying offer, not that he actually did. This is more of a leverage move than actual update. Monroe is trying to force the Pistons to pony up or lose him next year. If he actually signs the QA, it will be an indictment of both parties: Monroe because he couldn't find a single team to offer him a contract, the Pistons because now potential FAs know that even guys who have been around for years want desperately to leave the team.
