Game Notes

Kinsler out again with flu like symptoms, Kza Ton getting another day to rest the quad

The Tigers, winners of eight of their last nine after Tuesday's 3-1 decision over the Phils, now find themselves above .500 and just three games out of first place, even though they are in fourth place in the AL Central. The test today for Sanchez is handling Philadelphia on the third time through the batting order. In the sixth inning this season, Sanchez's ERA is 22.85. It's not much better in the seventh: 18.00.

Is my phone, espn, and mlb.com all correct in saying someone stole home? How the hell...

Was that a straight steal?

From what I just read man on 1st and 3rd, guy steals 2nd and they throw to 2nd. Guy took off for home and made it on a high throw/late cover at home. Definitely want to see the replay of that! :ugh:

I know that have a couple hits but looking at average the bottom of the order is the who's who of human crap..

Wow we are all sorts of dumb with a base open and I guy who had k'd twice coming up.

Nice work manager Lamont you dumb ass !!!!!

Right there is where a Manger keeps the game close or is stupid.
No way are supposed to pitch to that batter :/

Just looked - Sanchez is already at 71 PC and hasnt even hit the 4th inning...

Looks like we wont have to worry about whether or not to pitch him in the 6th, as he wont even make it there.

Sanchez is the weakest link in the rotation and it's time for him to be removed from the rotation IMO. he's terrible.

Teams don't generally remove guys that make his money, right or wrong.

Just awful pitching by sachez in that spot . Man was he awful . But Lamont should have just walked him with the base open and take the decision out of the dumbass players hands.
That is what a manager is there for.

Tigers claw back to within 1 after sending 8 guys to the dish.

5-4 bad guys.
