That would be great if he could win the CY. Man 12 runs.
Boys must be playing Cleveland's B team .

Porcello is a lock for the Cy Young IMO. Too bad JV was the victim of two or three badly blown saves early in the year, as well as a spell of poor run support.

Webvideo Highlights of the Tigers 12 - 0 win over the indians.

Justin Verlander: 7 2⁄3 innings of no-run baseball. He struck out 12 batters and gave up just 4 hits.

Miguel Cabrera: 5 RBI night easily gets you a roar. He was also intentionally walked in the fourth when Terry Francona didn’t want to play roulette with the Tigers scoring again. He also singled in the seventh.

Justin Upton: Two-run homer, a single, and a walk.

The entire Tigers offense: 16 hits and they left just five on-base.

STATS AND REACTIONS:
Miguel Cabrera’s five RBI gave him 102 RBI on the year. He’s now had 12 seasons with 100-or-more RBI, and eight of those have been with the Tigers. Those eight 100-RBI seasons are now tied with Harry Heilmann for most in franchise history.
The 5 RBI driven in by Cabrera ties his single-game record for the second-most RBI in a game, and the ninth of his career. The last time he drove in five was on May 14, 2015 in a 13-1 win over the Twins. His single-game career high is 6 RBI.

Justin Verlander struck out 10-or-more batters in a game for the eighth time this season, and the 37th time in his career. His last was against the Twins on Sept. 22.
Verlander struck out 12 batters for the first time since Sept. 23, 2013, over three years ago.

Any chance the Indians want us to win the Wildcard?? They've owned us all year so maybe they will keep throwing out crappy lineups these next two games.

Funny.

One game out with five games left.

I've never had a doubt that this team wouldn't just mercificslly crawl off into a corner and die.

I've always whole heartedly believed they would pull on our heart strings only to crush at the bitter end.

Next two games on ESPN.

I imagine I will be tuning in to both.

Tigers: Hold the tiebreaker over the Astros (4-2 season-series edge) and Mariners (4-3) and currently hold it over the Yankees as well.
Even though they split the season series with the Yankees (3-3), they have a better record against the AL Central than the Yankees do against the AL East. That could change, though. The Tigers lost the season series to the Orioles (2-5) and Blue Jays (4-3).
