RIP Marty Kantner, founding member of Jefferson Airplane, and later Jefferson Starship.

Jefferson Starship was responsible for "We Built This City (on Rock and Roll)" which honestly must be one of the worst songs ever to become a huge hit. God, music in the 80's sucked.

Seems to be a bad year to be an old rock star.

Keith Richards cannot be killed by ordinary means.

Keith Richards cannot be killed by ordinary means.

He really is the modern day Rasputin, God love him.

For better or for worse, his best friend in life, sax legend Bobby Keys; Bob's ex wife - or one of his ex wives; rockers tend to run through a bunch of wives - Judy Green - was my paramour/friend for more than a quarter of a century.

I sort of raised their grand child Chauncey with her.

I finally met Bob at Judy's funeral, maybe five years ago.

Bob died himself about a year later.

Shit related to alcohol or drug abuse I guess.

But we still have Keith.
