The Tigers don?t usually take a whole lot of batting practice on Sunday mornings, but after Saturday?s 10-inning shutout, they were out on the field hitting, trying to find a spark to ignite an offense that ? aside from Justin Upton?s two home runs Friday night ? has been pretty much silent this series and wasn?t doing a whole lot against the Twins earlier in the week. They have a decent history against Trevor Bauer, but his stuff makes him capable of shutting down a lineup for six innings or more. And with the workload the Indians bullpen handled Saturday, gotta figure Bauer will get every chance to find his form today and stretch out his pitch count.

A reminder for those channel-flipping between baseball and football: The game is on TBS as well as Fox Sports Detroit.

I just turned on TBS and didn't catch the introduction of the broadcast team. Does anybody know who they are?

Actually I just recognized Ron darling's voice.

I guess Cal Ripken is another one of them. When teams are on national TV, do I understand that the local cable broadcast team gets the game off?

Miguel Cabrera hit by a pitch on his left hand. Athletic trainer Kevin Rand looking at it now.

Fuck you trevor bauer.

Cabrera still grabbing, shaking left hand as he takes lead off 1B. He's retired on Victor Martinez double play.

Miguel Cabrera will stay in the game after being hit on left hand by 93 mph Trevor Bauer fastball in 1st inning....for now.

Ian Kinsler hit in head by Trevor Bauer pitch. He stayed on his feet, but he's shaken as he gets checked out.

Miggy's 2,500 career hit. Age 33 season season is the 8th player to accomplish the feat...Aaron Cobb, Foxx, Hornsby, Ott, a-rod, Yount.

Bauer just hit Victor Martinez in the right leg with bases loaded.
Dirty f'n bastard. die bauer.

Victor Martinez was hit square in the right knee. Three Tigers hit, three visits from athletic trainer Kevin Rand in 3 innings.
