Tigers vs. twins 9-22-16 Game 152

Not to look ahead but Just nocticed Clevelands Magic number is four? Guessing unless we take all four from them next week there might be a good chance they clinch in our park. :-(

Justin Verlander has struck out 10-or-more batters in a game for the 36th time in his career and 7th time this season (last, 9/5 at CWS).
 
JV is a future HOFer now. Really has reinvented himself like all great pitchers who have longevity do. Probably won't get to 250 wins, but I bet he gets 3000 strike outs and makes the Hall.
 
Verlander gets handshake of doom after striking out side following Polanco walk in 6th. 6 innings, 4 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, 11 K's. 115 pitches.
 
Collins freaking over swings with a chance at a rbi, and freaking k's.. just don't think he is much of a big leaguer.
 
Tough break there, Collins needed to put the ball in play in the previous at bat though
 
Man the tigers just leave way to many guys on third with less then 2 outs. Collins put thr damn ball in play damn it.
 
Just so stupid on the base paths. Why be that far off the bag. If it's a single you walk home and score easily anyways. If it's hit in the air you need to be close to the bag to tag up. Just so stupid.
