Look for Daniel Norris to get a bit of a higher pitch count tonight compared to his first outing, when he had 45-50 pitches and finished with 47. He?ll supposed get around 60-65 pitches. The starting pitching of Kyle Ryan and Randy Wolf yesterday actually left the bullpen in fairly good shape, at least enough that they shouldn?t have to stretch Norris if they don?t want to.
On the lineup side, Ausmus has flipped Victor and J.D. Martinez back to their previous spots, restoring V-Mart to the cleanup role. He?s 13-for-27 lifetime off Quintana, including 6-for-9 with two doubles this year.
