I don't think he's lights out but to be fair he's only thrown 25 innings on the roads

This was at all levels the last 3 years, not just the ML totaling 96.3 IP at Home and 90.6 IP on the road. That is fair to show his stink from the minors, no?
 
So the Reds have extra pitching and we go and get the much older one. Not as good one. Thanks.
 
Tigers can't say they have the best rotation in central anymore. Starting to think White sox rotation will be better

Not to mention that 4.5 era after the AS break. Suarez was at least depth and insurance for Iglesias after missing a full season
 
So we had a 25 year old SP and replaced him with a 34 year old SP. Yeah our rotation is much better :nod:
 
Simon 2014 before the AS break = 12-3 2.70 ERA 1.05 WHIP .219 OPP BAVG

Simon 2014 after the AS break = 3-7 4.52 ERA 1.44 WHIP .282 OPP BAVG

We trade Suarez and Crawford for this?

Do we have any worth while prospects left nowadays?
 
Im going to predict by mid season Simon will be replaced by Lobstein in the rotation
 
So now we have Price, Verlander, Sanchez, Simon, and Green? If only we could count on JV to be JV again, but we really can't anymore.
 
JV probably won't be JV, Simon will be 2nd half Simon at best and Greene will probably fizzle out and be designated..Cespedes, .245 with 16 Home Runs and 140 k's.
