Game 3: Orioles @ Tigers Thread

Miggy's 24th time with a 4 hit game since 2007. Most in MLB during that span.

I heard the 8th inning on driving home and Miggy's 2000 Hit the Homerun. iirc, 9th youngest to get to 2000 career hits. His 31st birthday is in about 2 weeks.

Tiger's are the last unbeaten team in the Majors.

And Angels and Royals are the only ones without a win. KC seems to be ending that streak though, with a 5 run lead in the 6th vs. the pale hose.

I know none of us think he should dive a lot...but how can you be a major league outfielder and NEVER dive? It doesn't make any sense. It's actually instinctual for players to dive. You see the ball and know what you need to do to give yourself a chance to make that catch...which is why every other baseball player on the field occasionally dives for a baseball.

Jackson isn't the only one. But I'd be bummed if he got messed up and Don freakin' Kelly is in for four months.

Really not sure if he could have caught that 1 even with a dive.

The only chance he had to stop that run from scoring was to dive. I think he had a legit shot. That situation is precisely when you dive for the ball.

Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera tied Lance Berkman for 76th place on the all time HR list, with 366. Cabrera had 4 hits (1 HR), including his 2000th career hit.

1) Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera reached 2000 career hits.
