Game 3: Orioles @ Tigers Thread

Hmm was that a bunt for a base hit or a sac bunt that just died on the IF?

Game in delay. situation: bottom 4th, Castellanos on 2nd, Romine on 1st, Davis at the plate 0-1 count, 0 outs.

It had better not have been a 4th inning sac attempt.

The back to back attempts make me wonder. Or maybe they just figure with the wet IF it would be hard to field bunts cleanly and guys might be able to leg them out.

I'm back

and it sounds like the Tigers are back too

Getting back into the action after the delay, Tigers lead 3-2

Davis up for the Tigers, men on 1st and 2nd, nobody out

Davis hits one over the wall in the corner 3-RUN HOMERUN

Tigers lead 6-2

Kinsler flies out to left center, 1 out

Josh Stinson warming up for the Orioles, sounds like Sanchez is done for the day too

Hunter hits one deep to left and ITS GONE

Tigers up 7-2

Both Hunter and Davis first hits of 2014 were homeruns.

IIRC Vmarts was as well.

Hmm, Cabrera might have been safe if he kept running?

Interesting note from Dan Dickerson: The Tigers won't play any night games in Comerica the day before an away series. Should help with fatigue/jet lag.

Stinson relieves Gonzalez

Cabrera up with 1 out, hits a line drive to center for a single, 1 on, 1 out

Martinez grounds one to Davis, he throws it to Flaherty to get Cabrera out at 2nd, ball is bobbled, no play at 1st, 1 on, 2 out

Jackson up, 1-2 count, ball in the dirt and Victor takes off for 2nd, steal is successful, Victor on 2nd now

Jackson hits one to center, not deep, 3 out

Tigers lead 7-2 after 4

LOL Vmart has more stolen bases than R. Davis, Kinsler, and Ajax combined.
