Game 5: Orioles @ Tigers Thread

Needed that quick inning. Getting another inning from JV is huge. Now lets get a couple runs!!
 
Looks sharp to me..

A few hard hit fly balls and line drives that have been caught, and like I said, he isn't fooling anyone. Only 3 strikeouts and has walked 2. That's not a good ratio for the type of pitcher he is. He needs to be more aggressive with his fastball to maintain any success.
 
Swing at everything. 2 up, 2 down in a matter of seconds two innings in a row.

His off speed pitches have been nasty. Hard hit balls happen..he's been pretty damn good.

Pretty typical for JV in April. Stuff is good but not his best. I think he became more of a "pitcher" last year though. Once his dynamite stuff comes back watch out.
