Can't imagine he can keep up this kind of strike out pace. What does he have now...14 k's in 23 at bats???

Avila is so bad, his 2011 season is looking like a huge fluke. Amazing how a player can go from an All Star to a piece of garbage like he has.

And yet I can PROVE he is no worse offensively than Matt Wieters or Russell Martin, neither of whom anyone on this board would say are pieces of garbage and certainly not if they became a Tiger.

He can take a walk and call a good game. I'd like him to hit .280 but that's not a norm for a C.
