JV with 5 Strikeouts the first 2 innings.

He's trying his best to impress those Cubs scouts. Although I'm not sure why a team would send scouts to watch JV in person? Is there not enough footage of him over the last 10+ years. Are their TV's broken?

You think you have problems and then you see that precious little boy with
his leg like that....God Bless the children.

JV looking damn good , i agree with Gotime , i think with Kershaw going down they may make a move . Should be a very interesting week

Miggy's rbi single if my math is correct was his 2,599 career hit, ties him with Steve Garvey,
1,601 RBI, 1 behind Beltre,
and that game tying run he scored was his 1,357 career run ties him with Doc Cramer and King Kelly.

Alex with a clutch 2 run single,

tied up,

So is that why Garvey is at the game?

Offense ties it up for JV and the putz walks the leadoff batter. His arm is still there, but his focus isn't near where it used to be.

I expect Fulmer to pitch like he's got something to prove tomorrow after that last start.
