Game 98 Tigers vs. royals July 24, 2017

Verlander got a standing ovation on his way to dugout from more than a few fans. He's on turn to start Sunday, day before trade deadline. I'm hoping as a Tiger.

I imagine we'll be seeing VerHagen for the next 3 innings...if the game goes that long.

Nice play Miggy.

Nice play Miggy! !!! Saves us a Bob 0-2 hit Rant !!!!

That ball was a mile off the plate !!!

If JV is gone it was good to see him throwing heat like that and striking out 9 in his final appearance as a Tiger. Guy was just see TV for several years. Some of the best stuff ever.

And he's still got top 10 stuff for a starter. IMO it's 1/2 mental and half approach of why he isn't dominant right now. A change of scenery and coaching could give him a few more really good seasons than if he stayed. Would be happy for him if he can have some strong years and cement a HOF career.
