Well Norris looks like he can't do anything with a 4 run lead and will either blow it or be out before he can get credit for a win. This kid doesn't look any better than Boyd which is disappointing since he at least has the velocity Boyd is lacking. Maybe he just needs more seasoning but he does not look ready for big league hitters yet.

Well Norris got through 5, no worse than Pelfrey or Sanchez. And the offense appears to be mashing today and the tigers are up 8-2 now that's all that matters.

Back to back jacks by Moya and Salty. This offensive lineup really has a chance to be awesome. Moya seems impressive so far, but then again, so did Brennen Bosch..

Is there any precedent for a player Moya's age making significant improvements in the outfield? Really sucks that it could possibly keep him from getting more at bats in the future.

He's the worst defensive outfielder I've seen since delmon young.

Great to see Miggy hitting monster HRs in bunches again. I was wondering if his power had left him for good after all the injuries. Nope, he looks like he is going to mash for several more seasons.

Tigers offense: Hit the stuffings out of the baseball to the tune of 15 hits on 10 runs. There were 3 home runs — Miguel Cabrera, Steven Moya, and Jarrod Saltalamacchia.

1-4 batters: Ian Kinsler, Cameron Maybin, Miguel Cabrera, and Victor Martinez combined to go 9-for-18 with a home run (Cabrera) and 6 RBI.

Daniel Norris: Career-high 8 strikeouts in 5 innings. Gave up only 2 runs on 8 hits and walked a batter.

Bullpen: One run allowed but it had no effect especially with the lead the offense gave them to work with. Kyle Ryan was stellar.

STATS AND INFO:
Miguel Cabrera’s home run in the fourth was his 18th of the year and No. 426 for his career, tying him with Billy Williams at 48th in MLB history. Statcast had his home run distance at 459 feet and 114 mph, but ESPN Stats & Info corrected that to 451 feet and 109.9 mph.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia’s home run in the fifth was his first since May 12.
Steven Moya and Saltalamacchia’s homers were the sixth time the Tigers have gone back-to-back this year.

Saltalamacchia finished a triple shy of the cycle and had his first three-hit game of the year, his first since July 24, 2014 with the Marlins against the Braves.

The Tigers are 4-0 versus the Marlins this year.

Webvideo Highlights from the Tigers 10 - 3 win over the marlins.

A MONSTER MASH FOR MIGUEL CABRERA.
Cabrera's fourth-inning home run off Marlins reliever Dustin McGowan on Wednesday traveled 451 feet. That's his MLB-leading fourth homer to reach 450 feet this year, per ESPN's Home Run Tracker.
A neat stat regarding Tigers' Miguel Cabrera's fourth-inning home run, which was calculated at 451 feet. That's his fourth homer of 450 feet or more. According to ESPN Stats and Info, no other player in the majors has more than two homers of more than 450 feet.

Looks like Cleveland will never loss again and to make the playoffs it will have to be the wildcard for the Tigers ...

Only 2 back of a spot! go tigers!

11 game 3 city road trip starts tonight, won't be easy, need to go at least 7-4 on it IMO. anything less won't get it done.
