I stopped watching after the 5th. Checked the score earlier and thought this team does the ability to have a big inning but then saw we were still down 7-2 and it was over. For some reason decided to check one more time before going to bed and what do ya know???? Wow, was not actually expecting to see us with a 10 spot and the lead..

The Rays had a 99.5% win probability in the bottom of the eighth inning. They did not win the game.
Maybin?s sacrifice fly was his first in 39 games with the Tigers this season.
For the second time in six games, Cabrera ground into two double plays. He had not done so at all during the previous 73.
This is first Tigers 5-run comeback in 9th inning since May 28, 1998 vs. whitesox. Also entered 9th trailing 7-2 in that game.
The Tigers 8 runs are the most they've scored in the 9th inning since scoring 13 on August 8, 2001 at Texas.
