Gorzelanny is with the Indians now apparently...he gave up 7 runs in relief for them today only getting one out.. Glad that bum isn't on the tigers anymore

4 game sweeps on the road are impressive, regardless of the opponent. Nice job Tigers.

Having said that this series against Cleveland is huge obviously. Need to start chipping away at their lead here. There's no better opportunity with the bullpen of the Tribe being used so much the last few days.

Six straight, going into Cleveland hot, tigers will face same three starters they did in the last series just a week ago, hopefully they can hit a little better this time around on em

Mike Pelfrey- Six innings of one run ball including four frames allowing just two infield singles.

Ian Kinsler- heads up base running to tie the game in the eighth and a two run blast in the ninth to seal the victory.

Jose Iglesias- a pair of hits while the rest of the offense was on strike.

Steven Moya- a diving shoestring catch to keep the game at 1- 0 in the sixth.

Nick Castellanos- hacked at two pitches outside the strike zone, whiffing with the bases loaded and Archer struggling to find the plate. He did the same to lead off the fourth inning with Archer?s pitch count climbing.

Cleveland?s bullpen should be worn out after pitching 24 2-3 innings the last three days. It was so bad Sunday, catcher Chris Gimenez worked the last two innings. and Cleveland?s bullpen includes such ?stalwarts? as Tigers? castoffs Joba Chamberlain and Tom Gorzelanny.

The bad news is it's 0-9 against the tribe. Tigers have to take a Harvey wall banger's approach. One pitch, one AB, one out, one inning, one game, at a time!
