Mike Aviles makes his second consecutive start, this time facing Twins lefty Tommy Milone.
James McCann returns to the starting lineup after back-to-back starts for Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
Miguel Cabrera stays in his usual spot in what should be a good test for him. He’s 8-for-18 with three doubles for his career against Milone, but he’s 10-for-49 with a double and two RBIs over his last 14 games, and he’s batting just .193 (16-for-83) with two doubles and two homers off left-handed pitchers this season.

Anyone have any confidence Sanchez won't suck tonight? Are we stuck or could he be sent down to toledo if they really wanted? Well it is the twins maybe he'll get through five

If he gives up 4-5 runs to this offense it's got to be the final nail in him starting here. Norris threw last night and looked good. I'm betting he'll make that start Sunday instead of Dirty Sanchez.

It takes a lot for me to have to boycott in watching a Tigers game. Congrats Anibal.

You can say that again. Shut down by Nolasco and now Cy Milone.

Ok I will..

I can't believe only four hits in 13 innings of offense thus far in this series againts the shitass twins...its absolutly unconscionable

That they do, great now get he'll get another start in Chicago and we all know that will be an unmitigated disaster...c'mon offense lets go! Get jer head out jer butts

Anibal Sanchez has struck out 10-or-more batters in a game for the 12th time in his career (last, 5/24/15 vs. Houston).

#DumbAssRocksInHisHeadAusmus lets Sanchez go out for the 7th with 93 pitches and a good game even if it's the twins. Now runners 1st + 2nd.
Then he brings in the reliever.
