Then when he got called out because there was already a runner on the base he was attempting to steal, he could have just shrugged his shoulders and said "hey, what can I say? - I'm new - it's my first day..."
 
Yes! That's when you want to be out front, on change ups drop em down the line...that probably should have been a much bigger inning...Alex sure does take a lot of close pitches..sometimes that's good sometimes not so much...sometimes we get on guys being over aggressive, Alex though he's not aggressive enough he needs to go up there and start swinging at first pitch fastballs

Avila is flat out terrible.

People love calling Jackson a fluke but at least he had more than 1 good season.
 
He likes to wait until he's in a pitchers count until he takes the bats off his shoulders
