Tigers hitters vs. Leesman 6 total AB's.

Ajax sits today.

And again, Pusmus has Avila hitting against a lefty. Right now, I would rather have Leyland's lineups.

This is probably the worst defensive outfield we could put out there...to back up JV, who gets a lot of flyballs. whelp.

Whatever happened to not giving guys the day off until they need it, like Jackson. And giving days off to guys that do need it regardless how good they are, like Miguel. He needs a serious time-out.

They have to see if JD can hit like Victor. What other reason is there?

Last time Rajai Davis played CF regularly (2011), he had a DRS raking of -9 below average. Rates out as +3 for career in CF.

Tigers have been in first or a tie for first every day since the season began. They also have never led by more than 1 1/2 games.

Tigers' VMart, has hit .328 against Chicago, with 22 HR, 30 2B and 89 RBI in 146 career games.

I agree, Miggy needs his Little League coach to pull him aside, and tell him, he's trying to hard and to have fun and let the game come to him.

Is it time to panic about Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera yet?
Oakland Press

His ground-ball rate is up. His fly-ball rate is down. He admitted that he?s still rebuilding core strength after offseason surgery.

But he?s not hurt.

There?s this thought, too: Cabrera hasn?t struggled often in his career.

His longest streak of games without a hit was six, all the way back in 2003. The next longest was in 2012, when he went five hitless games in mid-April.

He sat at .222 on the last day of that stretch, April 16. His BABIP was .172.

Four games later, he had his average up to .302.

And went on to win the Triple Crown.

Damn, that was almost out too.

Guess the wind is blowing out to center/left center tonight.

Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to green light Avila to steal?
