Tigers @ Cardinals 5-15-2015 Game #36

Offense is pretty damn good when guys aren't expanding the zone too much

Gose with 4 Triples is one behind MLB leader Paulo Orlando of KC with 5. Pailo has 79 at bats and Gose is a tad over 100.. Counting Gose's stats tonight.

My stream has been down the last few games but apparently I'm shit luck so I'll stick to radio for the near future.

Tigers take the first of three from the cardinals putting up their best night game offense on the year busting out for 10 runs on 17 hits, back to back double digits from the offense..so refreshing to see

Ceps JD and miggy all with homers #399 for miggy.
3 hits each for gose, miggy, ceps and James McCann

Greene had some hard hits balls off him through 5 but did not give up any runs left after 5 with some sort of nerve issue in elbow gets the win moving him to 4-2 on the year..bull pen was meh shaky but the offense picked em back up after each shake

Royals and Twins both also win tonight leaving no movement to the 1-2-3 spots in the central

STREAKS AND STATS:

Miguel Cabera's 7th inning home run was the 399th of his career, tying him with Al Kaline for most by a Tiger. It also tied him with Andres Galarraga for the most by a Venezuelan born player. Miguel is now tied for 52nd all-time and with his bat red-hot, we may see the 400th before too long.

Yoenis Cespedes solo home run in the second inning was his 5th of the season, and his first since April 27th against the Minnesota Twins. Yoenis now has 13 multi-hit games on the season and continues to be either red-hot or cold.

Shane Greene hit Kolten Wong with a fastball in the second inning. This was just the 7th hit batter by Tigers' pitchers this season, ranking them at 28th in the game.

Through three innings, Shane Greene ranked second in the game in pitches thrown per inning at 13.8.

A fourth inning triple by Anthony Gose gave him three on the season, 11 total extra-base hits, and 11 multi-hit games on the season.

Yoenis Cespedes stole his first base of the year in the 6th inning, catching the Cardinals off-guard as they played in as James McCann showed bunt.

It was Miguel Cabrera's 10th mult-hit game of the season.

Anthony Gose has seven hits in the past two games.
