The Cardinals currently have the best record in MLB and are 14-3 at home. If they win this series it will be their best start in more than 100 years when they opened up 16-4 at home in 1891.

Since beating Detroit in the 2006 WS the Tigers have taken the last 8 of 12 meetings from the cardinals.

Grandma's Cardinals and my NL team tonight. Really do not know much about Martinez except he got off to an early good start, has fallen off some lately.

Tigers need to make Martinez bring the ball up in the strike zone Cespedes just got one up and over the fence.

Greene shoulda let that one go woulda been an out tough bad break
