I really can't. I've never left a sports event early but these would put my resolve to the test.

Because he is out of options.. We lose him more then likely if we try and
ship him out to Toledo.

At least I think that is what I heard a few weeks back...

Bob, think about it for a second. If he was put on waivers, and another team claimed him, they would have to put him on their 40-man roster.

Last 3 years Away

H. Perez .265 BAVG .296 OBP .347 SLG .643 OPS 25.2 PA/BB

The scouting report on Perez has always been good defense, questionable offense. He doesn't take walks (think Delmon Young) and that is in the minors. He will be far worse in the majors.

D. Travis (24) .308 BAVG .373 OBP .476 SLG .849 OPS 13.1 PA/BB

E. Suarez (23) .277 BAVG .355 OBP .410 SLG .765 OPS 11.2 PA/BB

H. Perez (24) .265 BAVG .296 OBP .347 SLG .643 OPS 25.2 PA/BB

D. Machado (23) .204 BAVG .294 OBP .282 SLG .576 OPS 9.2 PA/BB

Man on 1st, less than 2 outs

1-5 1 BB 1 SB 3 CS 1 GIDP

So now we go to another extreme to try and move runners up.

Tigers are now 24-7 when scoring first; 3-13 when they don't.

We've actually won 7 games this year when scoring 2 runs or less. And our pitchers now have 5 shut outs....1st one since April 15th.
