MLB Gameday
ESPN Game Preview
Cobb vs. Detroit
Price vs. Tampa Bay

I hope Price is up to driving the coffin nail into his old friends and teammates.

Damn...I usually get the option of Mario and Rod on getaway day games on the road...but not so today.

Picking it up in the top of the 2nd, Tampa leads 1-0, 2 outs

Castellanos swings and misses on the 8th pitch...3 out

Rays lead 1-0

Cobb @ 29 pitches

Does Cobb have some foreign substance on his arm? He touches it everytime he gets the ball and then rubs the ball.

Rodriguez Ks on 4 pitches...1 out

Escobar hits a pop up to left center, JD comes over for the catch...2 out

Casali grounds it to short, Suarez to VMart...3 out

Tampa leads 1-0

Price @ 29 pitches

Avila walks on 6 pitches...1 on

Suarez hits a line drive to left for a single, Avila to 2nd...2 on

Kinsler grounds it to deep 3rd, Longoria to Rodriguez...3 out

TB up 1-0

Cobb @ 44 pitches

Lord of all that is good and holy...how do they ALWAYS seem to manage to do exactly the wrong dang thing and kill a rally. Of all things speedy Rajai grounds into DP. What for the third time in his career maybe? Ayeyayayayayaye...

Forsythe hits a fly ball to right, Hunter under it...1 out

Jennings pops it up to center, Davis under it...2 out

Zobrist hits a fly ball to shallow center, Suarez goes back to catch it...3 out

Tampa up 1-0

Price @ 39 pitches

Hunter hits a ground ball softly to 1st, Rodriguez tags the bag...1 out

Cabrera hits a fly ball to center, Jennings under it...2 out

VMart hits a deep fly to left, Guyer catches it one step in front of the wall...3 out

Tampa leads 1-0 after 3.5

Cobb @ 60 pitches

I think Miggy and JV are proof that these core injuries take more than a year to come back from. That's a pitch last year he would have turned on an sent about 10 rows back into left.
