Cannot underestimate the failure of the OF to cover ground and make plays. Interesting that SS took a tumble after Peralta was not resigned.

Certainly cannot be helping the pitching having the worst OF.

No wonder Coke points where the ball is going. I never understood the purpose of that. It was something our HS coach had pitchers do and I never needed their help in tracking a fly ball.

Do you think we move Nick back to a corner OF spot next year? I know the rankings don't tell the full story, but they'd seem to indicate that he's probably a worse 3B than Miggy was.

He's by far worse than Miggy. Stone hands, cements shoes.

The interesting this is we didn't really get much better at 1st like everyone thought we would going from Fielder back to Cabrera.

Should have tried to throw Nick and others in the deal with Tampa Bay to try and pry Longoria and Joyce or Zobrist away from TB... I Knew Nick was bad at third but never thought he would be worse then Miggy....

Get back Iggy should help short .. and get two defensive gems in the outfield. Get a new 3B and put Miggy at DH..assuming Vmart is gone. Sign some quality BP arms..win 2-1 games.

Thanks for the stats rebbiv but don't need them, it is clear watching the games. Casty is one of the worst defensive 3B I have seen in a while. It's not really his fault, he has not had to the time to develop it. Now they are going to mess up Travis by dumping him in CF. This organization really needs some direction on so many levels. Austin Jackson was not that good in CF either and I often wonder if anyone really could be with those dimensions. Now we are dumping Davis out there, who runs terrible routes to the ball. It's been rather ugly. I don't miss JP. Oh well, it is what it is. The best we can hope for is they catch fire at the right time and ride it to a title.
