Turley is older than Jake Thompson but they were both promoted to Erie at the same time after both were solid in the first-half of the season. He got hit kinda hard yesterday after a good first outing with the Sea Wolves. With Thompson gone I think he is the heir apparent to be part of the conversation for spot-starter next season.
Jason Krizan is the guy I have been watching closely all season. Left-handed hitter with little power but with such a good eye at the plate with 42BB and 31SO. He is struggling against LH pitching but I think he is the kind of guy who can make the majors as a utility player and possibly more from there.
It looks like Jake Thompson is pitching for the Frisco Rough Riders on Saturday.
