AL Playoff Thread 2014

KC beats Oakland 9-8 and will play the LA Angels in the ALDS
 
What a game. Those guys are running fools. Hope Angels knock them out
 
I'll be rooting for the Royals. If the Tigers beat Baltimore and KC beats LA, and if the regular season is any indication, the Tigers would have an easy ALCS.

One would think but if the Royals continue to play like that, that won't apply. One could argue Lester should have been pulled.
 
Baltimore and KC win game 1

Both series resume today
 
ALCS dates are set

Game 1 starts Friday with Baltimore hosting KC
 
KC goes into Baltimore and wins both games, they lead 2-0
 
KC sweeps Baltimore and they're now headed to the World Series to face the winner of SF vs St. Louis

This is KC's first visit to the WS since 1985
