Avila still having concussion issues. Doesn't sound great being suggested now that not return this year. McCann gets only his second Major League start in the most important series of the year so far. No pressure young man! LOL..

P: Verlander 13-12 4.81 splits vs KC Hitters Key match ups, Butler hitting JV at a .415 clip and Perez .424 yikes.

From getting clipped in the face by someones glove.. he can take foul balls off his mask all night, but as soon as the first baseman swipes at him, he's concussed.

That the case then McCann needs to get as much playing time as he can.

Word is that Sanchez will be back next week.. most likely as a reliever. Could be a huge weapon.. or a dud, being that he's not used to the bullpen role.
 
McCann should be starting over Holaday anyway. His OPS vs. RHP is still pretty decent.

Nice to see them adding on, too often when they have put up a crooked number in the first the bats have cashed it in for the night.

Oops thank you for correcting that, see what happens when they get a day off, I get all confused and end up with missing time phenomenon
