Orioles @ Tigers 7-17-15 Game #89

Sounds like music in the background why are they blaring music in the background at the park during live play..

Grrrrr lead off walk, closers in non save situations...never seems to go as well

Soria not looking great, trouble stirring..anyone up in the pen brad? Or is it panic city if Davis gets on

29 pitch bumpy 9th for soria, he didn't look great but Tigers win..nice to see the offense clicking again...now they just need to stay that way for about 84 more games

45-27 gets them to 90-71. A tall order.

Every 20 game winning streak starts with 1!

Going to the game tomorrow. First one this year and its supposed to feel like 100 degrees. Maybe the weather keeps the bats going.

STREAKS AND STATS:

Anthony Gose extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a ground-rule RBI double in the second inning, a ball that, had it not bounced over the wall, would've likely been a triple, for Gose.

The Tigers homered three times in a game for the ninth time this season on Friday night. Five of those three-homer games have come since June 21 (h/t @matthewbmowery).

The stolen base by Jose Iglesias was his 10th of the season.

I have been pretty critical of DD moves last few years, but Iggy for Avi Garcia and Bevis was a masterstroke.

Under team control long term and a fantastic all around player.

Iggy can't sustain this kind of hitting, enjoy it while it lasts. ~Thundercats 2013

Was a good game. Still hard to watch Nick C play 3rd base. His range might be the worst I have seen of any player in my life besides maybe Dave Kingman.
