The Tigers have lost 10 of their last 14 games and are now 4.5 games back of the Twins for the last wild card spot. This is the first time since July 3, 2012 the Tigers were 3 games under .500. The Tigers have scored just 3 runs on 8 hits in their last 2 games?.and we?re facing a pitcher with a 1.40 home era tonight.

Price has been outstanding on the road this season. He is 6-1 with an AL best 1.65 era in 10 road starts. Price?s July era is 1.20 in 4 starts. Lefties are batting .271 and righties .229 this season. The Tigers have manage to produce just 2 runs of offense in Price?s last 2 starts?both losses.

25 year old Odorizzi has been great all season and fantastic at home. He is 2-2 with a 1.40 era in 6 home starts. He has received the 5th lowest run support in the AL at 2.95 runs.

The Tigers are 8 for 34 (.235) with 3 doubles against Odorizzi. Gose is 2 for 5 and no other Tiger has more than 1 hit against him.

The Rays are hitting .213 (13 for 61) with 4 doubles against Price. Cabrera is 3 for 15 and DeJesus is 4 for 10.

Appermetly the Tigers think they can just stand pat do nothing and it will just all magically change. Lol dumb

Judging by the Ray's OF'ers reaction, that should be a homer for JD. I must have hit that catwalk.

balls that hit the cat walk for tampa, home run, balls that hit the calk walk for the tigers not home runs. got it

I would play the game under protest...should have been a Homer.

clown shoes fails to get the run in, clown shoes is not a patient hitter, do you really think you're going to get anything good to hit on the first pitch with a man on third and no outs clown shoes when everybody knows you like to hack at the first pitch. not patient nor smart. Tigers get a lead off triple and fail to score because clown shoes is dumber than a box of rocks.

Another hit for this bum Casali, and yes, we got screwed on the non home run call. Jesus...can it get any worse?

yes it can always get worse

more athletic 3rd baseman and it's likely still 0-0. Cost em 1 on both sides of the ball tonight so far.

What the hell r u swinging at McCann gaawd these guys have no pitch recognition capabilities at all..same well inside pitch three times three swings and misses

See ball swing at ball
