Detroit Tigers Minor League Notes

Bad news for the WM Whitecaps, as pitcher Elvin Rodriguez had to be carted off the field after taking a line drive off the top of his left foot.

He had been terrific on Monday night.

After leaving Monday?s game against the @LCCaptains on a cart; X-rays on the left ankle of @wmwhitecaps pitcher Elvin Rodriguez came back negative.

Rodriguez is considered questionable to make his next start against the @greatlakesloons Sunday with a bone bruise.
 
Jake Rogers with another HR and two hits last night for Erie: .280 in August with a .971 OPS, and four HRs. Has 16 bombs on the season. Big second half (since June, technically). Important Tigers catching prospect, to put it mildly,
