I'm not a psychiatrist. That said, I know that constant stress wears on a person, leading to depression symptoms and potentially altering brain chemistry (long term depression). But at the same time, isn't being asked to do your job right kind of the point? The Larry Brown story sounds pretty crappy, but it also sounds unnecessarily sadistic of any coach.

I hope Nate gets through (our at least manages) his issues. But blaming the NBA doesn't help him, especially if his entire goal is to get back in the league (why would he want that, if it's driving him over the edge?)
