There seems to be a few too many people upset with arguments that go on or personal attacks. And thin skin. I've been going around and around on this and personally its getting ridiculous.

Right or wrong, agree or not - this isn't the site I or many others signed up for. We came here to get away from the ESPN mods and crappiest that was ESPN..

I didn't come here so I could give warnings and infractions to members and warnings because other members are offended..

I remember this site as "too tough for ya" - time to move on. Call me a bad mod but ain't happening anyone..

So quit sending complaints and relax. Or better don't respond and go to another part of the board.

I'm sorry KC, because I know this goes against how you feel..

If the Illusive man deems me unfit for being a mod, I will gladly step aside. Then maybe I can insult some one..:hehe:

That probably goes with most of us. But there are a fickle few and no offense to them, but I didn't come here to baby sit.

Sbee got banned because he was talking trash. People kep complaining about him, so the mod banned him. Didn't even check Sbee's posts. I saw nothing worthy of a ban, so i unbanned him. People need to stop whining, but as mods, we need to at least look into the complaint.

The ways you get banned:

1. Posting porn
2. Personal attacks (i usually warn once first) or legit threats
3. Spam
4. Multiple accounts to be used at the same time

Note: anything goes in the politics section with the exception of porn and threats of bodily harm.

Sounds fair to me. I haven't got close to banning anyone. I remember a guy who posted the same spam link throughout the board. I just deleted his account.

I don't mind back and forth arguments. I don't mind a bit of trash talking or trolling from the other rival team fans. The problem comes when the argument goes outside of sports and enters the "you're a piece of shit. F- you!" area. that just can't happen. I'd just give a simple warning through a private message. If it continues to be a problem, then you can ban. Again, this doesn't apply in the politics section. If you post there, you're risking getting attacked. Post at your own risk.

I want to make sure people feel comfortable posting on this message board, but I'm not going to listen to someone's continued calls for someone to be banned just because they don't like what the person is saying.

Obviously there are posters on here that are very comfortable with each other, so an occasional "F you" or whatever isn't too much of a big deal.

You're right, we're not here to babysit. This board is supposed to be free from the ESPN style moderation, but we also want to make sure people actually LIKE coming here. If you're getting any complaints and you don't know what to do, send them my way. I'm not on nearly as much as I want, but I'll make sure things happen.
