Head of Big Ten officials agrees Bolden call vs MSU was wrong

Well, that being said...it totally would have made the difference!

thanks for bailing me out, I know you don't normally whine about these things so I really appreciate it. For the future though, I use "that said" not "that 'being' said"

Classic!!

OOOOOOO YEAHH!!!!

Since when do Michigan fans not like talking about the past?

lol ...when you have the greatest, most successful program in the history of the very sport, it's fine to talk about it.

now for you losers, the "past" will soon be referred to as that "time in the early-2000's when state beat MICHIGAN for a couple years" and you all will talk about that "past" just like the idiot who spoke at my sister's MSU graduation went on about the 1-3 record and "THAT WIN" versus MICHIGAN..

I'll take Spartans +51. I'll also take over 0 for the Spartans' team total. name your price.

OOOOooooh... don't make any half-serious predictions about the score or Mr. Big Tough Sports Gambler man will call you out.

"derrr you think they win 51-0? i'll take points and the over/under and hurr duuuh, me know how to gamble."

I don't think that's even what that means. Clearly, "51-0 Wolverines" is referring to where we will be in 2019 after winning 51 straight games. To make that our match up vs MSU, there will either be some schedule shuffling (to better accommodate adding ND) or we lose to Colorado, which would be a small price to pay for the next 52 wins.

don't make any half serious comments about half serious predictions around turd, because he'll unload on you with a 5th grade level smack down. how do you get so much stupid packed into one person's head? Amazing.

I'm already hearing ruminations of "The Dantonio Era," which has a really odd resonance to me. Prior to that, the coaching tenures were far too brief to establish an era. Errors, yes. Eras, no. But the Muddy Waters and Bobby Williams "eras" were legendary. Then there's Ara Parseghian, who has a special place in the brief "Duffy Era" of 65-66, the other "era" being in 1955.

1955? MSU was 70-21-1 with 2 Rose and 1 National Championships in the 1950s. Maybe one day we'll have an era where we go 2 & 8 in the Rose Bowl and 5 & 12 overall so we can hero worship one of the most overrated cranks ever to coach college football.

obvious troll continues to be obvious, crosses line.

Calm down, we're talking the Duffy Era here in the 50s. That was one RB win and a 41-21-2 ('54 to '60) record and, I'll give you 55-57 as highly successful. As for Bo, he was a lot of things, but overrated was not one of them. He took major (and unwarranted) heat for his RB/bowl record.

I assure you, I'm perfectly calm. Personally, I think the heat was warranted. There are things I like about Bo - he was very serious about the student part of being a student athlete and I respect that. I also respect the 13 Big Ten titles but his bowl record was simply dreadful, his teams were boring or at least very predictable and he was a jackass.

I don't. Throw out 1970; he was not on the field. But since you watched all the games, like I did, I'll account for your opinion. Disappointing for certain, but the bowl record does make him "overrated."

You met him? Tell me about it.

never met him, but you don't need to meet someone to know he is a jackass. I've seen him acting like a jackass on the sidelines, being a jackass in interviews or other appearances and I know people who played for him.

Well, I had on several occasions (after his coaching career was completed) and that is/was not my impression nor the opinion of a lot of the ballplayers who played for him in the 70s at the time they were on the team.

ha. you're always just recycling my lines (cause you can't come up with your own).
