1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Michigan
4. Texas A&M

I thought Washington would be 4, but the SEC ball washing must continue.

Clemson's above us despite us beating #8, #12, and #15. That's off the top of my head, so maybe I'm off one or two positions.

2 or 3 doesn't matter one bit...they play each other.

This is true, but if we're at #3, its easier to drop to 4 (to play Bama). With potentially 5 games left, it's not a big deal now, though.

I get what you mean now but that means there is more a chance for teams to pass us.. The NCAA wants 3 SEC teams playing..

I get that they played a tougher team but barely won and maybe shouldn't have. Michigan was never close to getting beat..

Eh, 3 is fine. Washington being behind A&M is quite curious. I'm guessing that quality win over NMSU is what put them ahead of Washington.

Those Aggies are better than their record. At least a 3 win team..

TAMU still has a rough couple games ahead, no? if they go 12-1 or whatever, with their only loss being to Bama, they have a decent argument to be in over UW. UW's SOS isn't great.

FWIW, Sagarin also has UW 5th, but behind OSU. He has TAMU 9th, behind LSU, UW, and Louisville, as well although he gives TAMU a higher SOS than UW.

Everyone still has a ways to go...

I really dont give a damn what number we are.. We need to keep winning and if we win the B10 then we are in.

Don't get Clemson at number 2, and i think Washington is pretty darn good.

So does this mean like that? All those four teams have clinched a postseason playoff berth?

None of them has to win or even play another game?

That's bitchin' if it is.

I will take Michigan taking on Clemson for the national championship semi finals today and every day going forward and twice on Sunday.

Washington's first three games:

Rutgers
Idaho
Portland State

And the Pac-12 is weak.

Clemson has beaten #7, #9, and #22.

The average ranking of our top three = 11.66

Average ranking of Clemson's top three = 12.66

So that makes sense.

I can't believe Penn State is ranked #12 in this poll. Seems insane.

I suspect they discussed how injured Penn State was when Michigan played them. They were out of linebackers by the end of that game and now they've got some back. So, you could say they're now a better team than the one we beat.

They are better now, but they aren't better than a lot of the teams ranked behind them.
