Sadly there really isn’t much help at Triple A.
The team was playing better with Jung and Malloy on the team.
Meadows and Vierling are a big reason this streak is so bad.
(But not the only reason) no one is hitting but Tork and maybe
Torres.
Matt last year ending with a 3 war. He has not done much.
Parker Meadows was a 2.2 war last season.
If they don’t get going we are toast.

I think jays retired last 12 tigers
If Hinch or any other Tiger says "we know we are a good ball club" WRONG. Not currently. They are totally embarrassing in ALL aspects of the game. Pitching sucks, hitting sucks, and now that are making defensive miscues all over the place. Baez has great athleticism, but he has reverted to his foolish swings at bat. Baez's throws have become o errant Torkelson can't catch them. Riley Greene is a strike out machine. He leads all MLB in strike outs. He misses pitches down the middle and then misses with swings at pitches that are unhittable. They may be saying otherwise, but this slide is wearing on them big time. What is happening to them is sickening. The last 13 games Tigers have scored 32 runs, opponents 83 runs.

The Detroit Tigers are playing under .500 baseball for the first month this season.
July has been a horrible month for them. They’re still stuck at 60 wins with a 1-9 record in their last 10 games. So far, only 2 series wins. Their lead in the AL Central is now down to single digits – 8 games ahead of the Guardians (through Thursday).
They’ve experienced several extended losing streaks and their pitching, relieving and hitting have become undependable.
Is this just an expected struggle for this team which has so far defied the odds? Something that happens to every team at some point during the year? Or is this a bigger concern?
