We've seen this before:

1982 35-19 start (.5 GB) ruined by 10 gm June skid. Never recovered. 83-79 (3rd).

1988 Lead East by 4 in Sept but injuries lead to 4-19 spiral, finish 88-74 (1 GB BOS).

1993 Surprise start, 43-25 (2 GA!) doomed by 10 gm June slide. 85-77 (3rd).

The Tigers are the only MLB team in the modern era to have a 13-game span where they were outscored by 50 or more runs, were out hit by 50 or more hits,
had fewer than 25 XBH, struck out 125 or more times.
They came into this stretch with the best record in MLB.

OF Kerry Carpenter has been activated off of the 10-day injured list.
INF Trey Sweeney has been optioned to Triple-A Toledo.

Detroit radio host adds to Tigers' misery with wild meltdown over Jason Benetti.
What was this all about?

Freaking approaching 25 pitches again.
Second batter in a row 3-2 count after getting fast
2 strikes.

Same old same old for tiger pitchers. 25 pitches

If things go south again today I’d like to see at least one tiger get upset and thrown out of the game. AJ would be ideal Managers job to do at times like this.

Boy do I remember 1988 all too well. Tigers got hammered at Fenway late in the season and never recovered.

Jack throws 25 pitches and your Jack ass leadoff hitter hacks at the first pitch. Who F-ing cares if it was a deep fly to LF.
It was a terrible at bat. He is not a good leadoff hitter.

Max only needs 12 pitches. Max mows Torres and carpenter down.

This team hitting approach is awful.
40 year old is mowing them down.
