Game #114: Minnesota Twins @ Detroit Tigers, August 4th, 2025, 6:40 Pm

What is McKinstry doing ? My god that was a bad decision.

Mize gives up another 0-2 hit.
5-4-3 bails him out. Nice.

I take it back Mize blows. Cant have a clean inning after we tie.
Three solo homers.. Mize has to be better than this. He should
Mow this lineup down without Buxton.

Wallner is batting .214 and strikes out a lot.i would not throw him anything close. Sadly that ball was crushed

Tigers 6th
Baez singles (to 3rd)
Keith singles (0-2)count. (Out at 2nd)
Torres FC 3-6
Carpenter 2 run homer 437 Feet RF (Dirks called it)
(Longest homer of KC career)
Tigers lead 5-3
Greene singles. (Wallner throws him out 2nd)
(Maybe don't run on Wallner)
Perez BB
McKinstry K’s

That was nice of them to take Adams out and replace him with a guy with an 18.00 era

Greene's close and late stats are soooo bad. Least clutch guy on the team

If I remember correctly Cecil Fielder has the Tigers record for most strikeouts by a player with 182 strikeouts. Greene is on pace for 200 or more.

Top 7th
Hurter in
Lefty Singles
Righty 6-4-3 DP
Lefty HBP.
Lefty HBP
Righty (guy has 10 homers) Lucky. F-9

(Why keep him in). This pen is so bad.
Hurter is not good. He was pulling off of every pitch.
Wish he could find his slot he can throw strikes from.
He didn’t get one lefty out. Strange
