Jake average is up to .194 now. He is playing because Dingler needs a rest and like you said he hits this pitcher. No way after a Night game to a day game would dingler play.

Glad Jake got a hit ! He waddles his way to 3rd !

The boy paid for his pair of close seats and cones; I guess he feels entitled. Edit- Ok, they weren't both eating cones; she had an ice cream sandwich.

I have the Mets game on television, and the announcers just heaped effusive praise on Riley, adding on that he is an "unbelievable outfielder, a human highlight reel, an amazing, intelligent, and thoughtful players in the game". The media hype has turned him into a baseball god. They did manage to mention his strikeout pace, and said that he has a huge uppercut, and Keith (Hernandez) might have a word on that (he didn't).

Look I get swing on a 3-1 pitch because you think you will get a strike but up 4-0 why not wait for a 3-2 pitch ? You may walk ? It frees up the runner to score on a double. Why not Take on 3-1 with two outs ?
Just my opinion.

That’s a good point and would make way too much sense.

Im a rogers fan. I just miss his homers. He use to hit them.
Next season can you carry a .200 backup catcher ?

For some reason out fielders never get errors on balls not touched, they should, but they don’t.
 
Why walk Loftin on four pitches? I never understand completely losing the strike zone against the weakest link in the lineup. Luckily fixed by a double play.
