I hope the wildness is strategic, since it has been against their three top hitters.

Mets 2nd
Veintos (1-2) HBP (it hit the damn nob AJ)
McNeil (0-2). Single
Mullins sac bunt 1-3.
Torrens ****ing .216 hitter gets a double. 2-1 Mets.
#9 Baty BB
Lindor F-7
Soto (1-2), (2-2: 31 pitches . k

Mets lead 2-1 bottom 2nd.

It was so obvious that ball hit the nob. Why isn't AJ asking for a review? Ball so hit the nob to the first batter of this inning.

Charlie cant get anyone out when he is ahead in the count wtf!

Morton just freaking blows. He threw a 87 mph slow pitch to a damn .216 hitter and it sped up his bat so he could pull it. Such a bad pitch.

Our Tigers bullpen posted a 2.98 ERA in August, ranking 2nd among all MLB teams.

RHP Chase Lee and OF Justyn-Henry Malloy have been recalled from Triple-A Toledo.

There are two players in the minors who are 21 or younger and are hitting .300/.400/.500 over 400 or more PAs. One is Konnor Griffin, the game’s No. 1 prospect. The other? Twins OF Gabriel Gonzalez.
FWIW, Kevin McGonigle has a chance to join this list. Currently sitting at .315/.418/.590 this year in 352 PAs. Erie has 12 games remaining, and he will likely play in 10. It’ll be close.

The Tigers and our affiliates have a combined 392-279 record, continuing our standing as the winningest organization in baseball this year.
Lakeland, Erie, West Michigan and the FCL Tigers all qualified for the playoffs

Why isn't Troy Melton a starter? Detroit Tigers believe he's more valuable as reliever.
Freep

Wenceel Pérez in August: 100 PA .287/.360/.483 4 HR 9 R 10 RBI 2 SB 133 wRC+
0.6 fWAR. Quite the month from the Tigers switch-hitting outfielder.

Tigers 2nd

Greene single (cf)
Ibanez K’s
Dingler single (cf)
McKinstry FC 1-6.
Baez. 4-3

0-2 RISP that inning. Tigers waste a chance to score.

(Feels like a tough matchup for ZM)

Tork K’s.

Tigers Lead 3-2 top 4

Did Jones think he was getting another cookie after hitting a homer ?
Sometimes you need to vary your approach.

Jones did get a cookie again; it was a middle middle fastball

McNeil. (0-2), (1-2) count freaking double. Sigh
Mullins (.224) hitter BB
Torrens (.219) hitter pop single (RF: sigh
Baty (1-2),(2-2) K’s
Lindor K’s
Soto. (0-2),(1-2), Dumb pitch trail 6-3 Stupid why anything close.
Dingler has to know better ? And so does Morton.
That ball needs to be in the damn dirt or way off the plate.
BB
G-3

Trail 6-3 because we have 41 year old dumb pitcher.

Well Morton had one good inning :(
He Needs a miracle now.
Pretty bad he can’t get the weaker hitters out in this lineup?
Unlucky on weak contact I guess.
