Game #139: New York Mets @ Detroit Tigers, Monday September 1st, 2025, 1:10 Pm

I don’t want anyone to tell me Morton missed his spot on a damn 1-2 pitch. That ball has to be in the dirt or off the plate. If it’s 3-2 then so be it. Im tired of these clowns not using the count to thier advantage.
Charlie had 2 more pitches to play with.

Throws a freaking 81 mph whatever pitch center cut.
To freaking Soto ! Just so stupid.

Manea is manure, but Morton is all over the place dog shit. This is going to be their downfall in the playoffs, lack of reliable starters after Skubal.

Our go-to left handed pitcher has been Trevor; now we have none. That actually was a good pitch to Soto; we were just set up badly, with Tork halfway to 2nd base. Now bad fielding on top of that. Mets have had a lucky day with short singles; hopefully we can catch up.

Must been set up that way for a reason. I agree but disagree. melton should started the inning. No way he allows 3 runs.
I know they need another lefty. But sadly it’s not Sommers.
Feels like in a 9-6 game you are wasting Melton unless you come back and win. So we get 9 more outs to try and do just that.
