Not winning many games with Gibson-Long throwing. He just throws BP balls.
Yes, what a terrible pitcher this Gipson Long is. He needs to be LONG GONE. I agree with everyone else. It seems the Tigers just did not give a whit about winning this game. Serving up HR cookie gifts to Judge and Stanton, along with the other gifts that will lead to a gift win to NY from the Tigers. I do not understand how many of the Tiger hitters just look at those down the middle nothing burger pitches and then swing at the unhittable in the dirt pitches. Torkelson just automatically looks at the first pitch down the middle instead of swatting it over the fence. The Tigers just have to have a game where they are so far from being competitive that it's a joke.

He was pretty good in 2023. Not great this year.

I wish AJ and Fetters would use Keider Montero for the 4th or 5th starter and stop bringing him up and down from Toledo.
Just my opinion a starter he is better then Gibson-Long and can be an innings eater. Every now and then He pitches a gem.

Minor League Update Thursday September 11th, 2025
Toledo Mudhens (77-64) (38-28)
Won tonight 11-4 Final. Jung hit his 16 homer and had 5 RBIs .
Average up to .246. Valencia the catchers continues to mash and his hitting .309 at Toledo. Malloy 2 more hits batting .316. They had 18 hits.
Chase Lee clean inning. Sadly Lange did not have a clean inning .
Shouldn’t Jung be on the team over Sweeney ? Idk. He as 16 homers at Toledo.
