WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY.
Totally Tigers

In yesterday’s blog, we addressed the possible factors and strategies that have potentially resulted in the Tigers’ current performance drop. They have gone from a double digit lead in the AL Central to just 1 game (through Monday’s results).

Based upon the theories presented, who deserves the lion’s share of the credit for how this team has performed throughout most of this year?
Is it the talent level of the players?
Or is it the managerial skills and strategies of A. J. Hinch to maximize his players’ performance?

Who deserves the lion's share of the credit for how this team has performed for most of the year?

1. The players.

2. A. J. Hinch

It's the players. When they are good, they win. When they are bad, they lose. If it were the manager just pulling the strings, wouldn't they just avoid this epic collapse using his "skills and strategies"?

Riley Greene gets stun locked when told the Tigers struck out 19 times against the Guardians tonight.
19 strikeouts. Beyond that, I can’t explain this logically. The fans have every reason to be pissed off.
